Street Food Affair is back and we are kicking off the new 2018 season with a series of smaller street food events at popular local and independent venues in advance of the main Summer events which start on 1 June at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge. Our Spring tour takes in Katie Fitzgerald’s pub, Green Duck Brewery and the Ruskin Glass Centre.
We are delighted to have been asked to bring a mini ‘al fresco dining’ event to Katie’s Yard at Katie Fitzgerald’s pub in Stourbridge. Expect the same great atmosphere and high quality street food plus a very warm welcome from Katie’s hosts Eddie and Trina. There will be live music, well stocked bars, good beer and great company indoors. Street food will be available from 4.00pm until 9.00pm in Katie’s Yard with plenty going on to entertain you in the pub after 9pm. Street Food Affair regulars Gresko Bodhi, Greens Vegan and Laghi’s Deli will be on hand to provide a range of Japanese, Eastern Mediterranean and Italian Pizza based street food. This will not only be a treat for local vegetarian and vegans but a chance for other people to try out a meat-free Easter.
Katie’s hosts Eddie and Trina said they are very pleased to welcome Street Food Affair organiser, Sarah New and the team to Katie’s and have organised plenty of live music for your entertainment from some great local artists including Patrick Hannon, Dave Onions, Esther Turner, Zoe and Nick Barrell, Paul Beadle, Jess Silk, Ian Marrey and Ben Smith. There is no entrance fee for this event however small donations will be gratefully received for the pub’s chosen charity; Action 4 Animals. All musicians have kindly donated their services free to help raise awareness of this year’s ‘Action 4 Animals’ appeal.
